At the age of 19, Richard Haydel made his screen debut in the film "Mr. Belvedere Goes to College" and went on to appear in several other films such as "The Red Danube" and "House of Strangers". Haydel was also a popular radio performer, known for his appearances on "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" and "The Great Gildersleeve". Despite his promising career, Haydel's life was tragically cut short when he died in a plane crash at the age of 22 while on his way to filming a new movie.
