Maria McBane (February 8, 1946 Avignon-) is an American actor.

She is best known for her role as Margie Hendricks in the 1988 film "The Commitments". McBane began her acting career on stage in the late 1960s and transitioned into television and film in the 1980s. Aside from her work in "The Commitments", she also appeared in the films "Bracken", "The Lonely Passion of Judith Hearne", and "Circle of Friends". McBane has also made numerous television appearances, including on the shows "Brideshead Revisited", "Father Ted", and "Midsomer Murders".
