multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. Bumpus was best known as a member of the Doobie Brothers, where he played saxophone, guitar, and provided backing vocals. He joined the band in 1979 and appeared on their albums "One Step Closer," "Cycles," and "Brotherhood."

Before joining the Doobie Brothers, Bumpus was a member of the band Moby Grape, and also performed with Bobby McFerrin, Steely Dan, and Bonnie Raitt, among others. He released a solo album in 1983, called "A Clear Day's Journey."

Bumpus was known for his dynamic stage presence and his ability to play multiple instruments. He continued to perform and record music throughout his career, even after leaving the Doobie Brothers in the mid-1980s. He passed away in 2004 at the age of 58 due to a heart attack.

Clifton Davis (October 4, 1945 Chicago-) also known as Clifton Duncan Davis is an American actor, songwriter, minister and pastor. He has two children, Christian Noel Davis and Holly Danielle Davis.

Davis began his career as a songwriter in the late 1960s and eventually transitioned into acting. One of his most notable roles was as Reverend Reuben Gregory in the popular television series "Amen" which aired from 1986 to 1991.

Barbara Harris

Barbara Harris (August 18, 1945 Elizabeth City-) is an American singer.

Barbara Harris is an American singer, best known for being a founding member and lead vocalist of the 1960s girl group The Toys. Born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina in 1945, Harris grew up in a family of musicians and began singing at a young age. She formed The Toys with two other classmates from high school in the early 1960s, and their debut single "A Lover's Concerto" became a #2 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1965. The group went on to release several more successful singles and albums, but disbanded in the early 1970s. Harris continued to perform and record music as a solo artist, and also worked as a session singer and vocal coach. She was inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame in 2010.
