His albums include Meisterstücke, The Sound Of Musik, The Very Best - Tribute '98, Portrait, Meine schönsten Erfolge, Jeanny, Helden von Heute, Falko Gold, Greatest Hits, Volume II and Egoist. Genres he performed include New Wave, Pop music, Pop-rap, Glam rock, Funk, Rock music, Hip hop music, Synthpop and Neue Deutsche Welle.

Falco rose to international fame in the 1980s with his hit song "Rock Me Amadeus," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He also had other popular songs such as "Vienna Calling," "Jeanny," and "Der Kommissar."
