Richard Bell (March 5, 1946 Toronto-June 15, 2007 Toronto) also known as Bell, Richard was a Canadian musician.

Bell was best known as the pianist for Janis Joplin's Full Tilt Boogie Band and for his work with The Band. He also played with various other notable musicians, including Bonnie Raitt, Bob Dylan, and Paul Butterfield. Bell was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2011. In addition to his musical career, he was a passionate advocate for Indian residential school survivors and helped to establish the Juno Award-winning organization, the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. Bell passed away at the age of 61 from multiple myeloma.
