Jerry Edmonton (October 24, 1946 Oshawa-November 28, 1993 Santa Barbara) was a Canadian musician, songwriter and drummer.

Jerry Edmonton was best known as the drummer and a founding member of the Canadian-American rock band "Steppenwolf". Some of their most popular songs include "Born to be Wild", "Magic Carpet Ride", and "The Pusher". Edmonton was also a skilled songwriter and co-wrote many of Steppenwolf's hits. In addition to his work with Steppenwolf, he also composed music for film and television. Edmonton passed away in 1993 from a car accident in Santa Barbara, California at the age of 47. His contributions to rock music continue to be celebrated by fans worldwide.
