Zhao Lirong was known for his roles in numerous Chinese films and TV dramas, including "The Red Detachment of Women" and "Tunnel Warfare." He won several awards for his performances, including the Best Actor award at the 1983 Tokyo International Film Festival. In addition to his acting career, Zhao Lirong was also a director and playwright. He passed away in 2000 and remains one of the most respected and influential actors in Chinese cinema history.

Chien Yu

Chien Yu (May 25, 1942 Tianjin-April 10, 2000 Hong Kong) a.k.a. Chi-ling Ke, Qian Yu, Angela Yu Chien or Angela Yu Ching was a Chinese actor.

Chien Yu began her acting career in Taiwan in the 1960s before ultimately transitioning to Hong Kong cinema in the 1970s. She appeared in over 100 films throughout her career, including several martial arts films where she often played roles as the lead female character or antagonist. Chien Yu's most famous role was in the 1972 film "The Fourteen Amazons" where she played one of the titular warriors. She was awarded the Golden Horse Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1975 for her role in "The Empress Dowager". Chien Yu passed away in 2000 at the age of 57 due to lung cancer.
