André Mattoni (February 23, 1900 Karlovy Vary-January 11, 1985 Vienna) also known as Andrea Mattoni or Andreas von Mattoni was a Czech actor.

Mattoni began his career in the Czech theatre in the 1920s and later moved to Austria where he gained popularity in the Vienna theatre scene. He was known for his talent in character roles and his ability to portray elderly, sometimes comical, but always memorable characters. Mattoni also appeared in over 60 films throughout his career, many of which were in Germany and Austria. Some of his notable film credits include "The Fifth Horseman is Fear," "1. April 2000," and "The Incredible Journey in Slow Motion." Outside of his acting career, Mattoni was a respected translator and linguist, fluent in several languages including Czech, German, English, French, and Italian. He was awarded the Austrian Cross of Honour for Science and Art in 1972 for his contributions to the arts.
