Petr Hapka (May 13, 1944 Prague-November 25, 2014 Okoř) was a Czechoslovakian film score composer, conductor and actor. He had seven children, Petra Hapková, Markéta Hapková, Kamila Hapková, Kašpar Hapka, Ferdinand Hapka, Haštal Hapka and Mikuláš Hapka.

Petr Hapka began his musical career in the late 1960s, during which he established himself as a highly respected composer and songwriter. He composed numerous hit songs, including "Holubí dům" (The Pigeon House), "V penziónu Svět" (At the Hotel Svět), and "Bláznova ukolébavka" (Jester's Lullaby). In addition to his work in music, Hapka also acted in several films and TV shows.
