Preben Neergaard (May 2, 1920 Farum-July 22, 1990 Frederiksberg) was a Danish actor and film director. He had one child, Merete de Neergaard.

Neergaard began his acting career in the 1940s and quickly became a well-known face in Danish film and theater. He appeared in over 60 films during his career, including "Hans Christian Andersen" (1952) and "The Olsen Gang" series (1968-1981).

In addition to his work as an actor, Neergaard also ventured into directing. He directed several films, including "Kispus" (1956) and "Fæhunden" (1968).

Neergaard was also involved in the Danish dubbing industry, lending his voice to several foreign films and television series.

In 1985, Neergaard was awarded the Order of the Dannebrog for his contributions to Danish culture.

He was particularly known for his work in the theater, where he was a member of the Royal Danish Theatre from 1952 to 1972. During this time, he appeared in several productions, including "Hamlet" and "King Lear". Ussing also worked as a voice actor, dubbing foreign films into Danish. He was known for his distinctive voice and was often called upon to voice characters in animated films.
