Paaske was best known for his work in the theater, where he began his career in the late 1950s. He performed with several prominent theater companies in Denmark, including the Royal Danish Theatre and Folketeatret. In addition to his theater work, Paaske appeared in a number of Danish films and television shows throughout the 1960s and 1970s. He also worked as a director, with his most notable production being a 1981 staging of Shakespeare's "The Tempest" at the Royal Danish Theatre. Throughout his career, Paaske was widely recognized as a talented and versatile actor, known for his ability to play both comedic and dramatic roles with equal skill.
