Yard Van Staalduynen

Yard Van Staalduynen (November 9, 1876 Loosduinen-April 27, 1961 Amsterdam) a.k.a. Gerardus Johannes Van Staalduynen was a Dutch actor.

He started his career as a stage actor and eventually transitioned to film in the silent era. He starred in a variety of Dutch films throughout the 1910s and 1920s, including the popular film "Bleeke Bet" in 1923. He continued to act in films throughout the 1930s and 1940s, including during World War II when the Netherlands was occupied by Germany. After the war, he continued acting and even made a few appearances on Dutch television. His career spanned over five decades, and he became one of the most recognizable Dutch actors of his time.

Eduard Verkade

Eduard Verkade (June 15, 1878 Amsterdam-February 11, 1961 Breukelen) also known as Eduard Rutger Verkade was a Dutch actor.

He started his acting career in 1905 in Rotterdam and later joined the Royal Dutch Theatre company in The Hague. Verkade was best known for his roles in the films of Dutch filmmaker Maurits Binger in the 1910s and 1920s. He worked with Binger on more than 20 films, including "The Gold Seekers" (1919) and "The Bandits of the Plains" (1916). Verkade also appeared in international films such as "La Duchesse de Langeais" (1920) and "Le Berceau de Dieu" (1926). Later in his career, he became a director and worked on several Dutch films. Verkade was considered a versatile actor, capable of playing both comic and dramatic roles. He died at the age of 82 in Breukelen, Netherlands.

Pierre Mols

Pierre Mols (January 29, 1885 Hedel-June 19, 1961 Cannes) was a Dutch actor.

He began his career in the Netherlands, acting in local theaters and eventually making his way to the Amsterdam theater scene. Mols had a successful career in the Dutch silent film industry, appearing in several Dutch films throughout the 1910s and 1920s. In 1930, Mols and his family relocated to France, where he continued his acting career in French films. Mols appeared in over 60 films throughout his career, including the French films "The Exile" (1931) and "The Red Dancer" (1937). Despite his success in French film, Mols remained connected to his Dutch roots and was awarded the Order of Orange-Nassau for his contributions to Dutch culture. He passed away in Cannes, France at the age of 76.
