He began his acting career in the Netherlands before moving to the United States in the early 1900s. Judels became known for his comedic roles in silent films during the 1910s and 1920s. He appeared in over 100 films throughout his career, including notable roles in "Duck Soup" (1933) and "The Great Dictator" (1940). Judels was also a prolific voice actor, providing the voice for several Disney characters, including the evil Coachman in "Pinocchio" (1940) and the Sultan in "Aladdin and His Wonderful Lamp" (1939).
