She eventually transitioned to film and television, making her Hollywood film debut in 1943's "The Return of the Vampire". She went on to have a successful career in film, appearing in over 80 films, including notable roles in "An American in Paris" (1951) and "Spartacus" (1960).

Riek Schagen

Riek Schagen (November 15, 1913 Amersfoort-July 14, 2008 Vorden) a.k.a. Geertruida Hendrika Schagen was a Dutch actor.

She was best known for her work in Dutch film, television, and theater. Schagen acted in over 50 films and television series during her career, including several collaborations with famous Dutch film director Fons Rademakers. Some of her notable works include "Dokter Vlimmen" (1977), "Het teken van het beest" (1980), and "Sylvia Millecam Show" (1989-1994).
