Deena Payne is best known for her role as Viv Hope in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, which she played from 1993 to 2011. Before Emmerdale, she appeared in various television shows, including Minder and Boon, and played the role of Beryl in the film Rita, Sue and Bob Too. Payne has also appeared on stage, performing in productions of Billy Liar, Up and Under, and The Vagina Monologues. Kim Goody initially gained renown in the UK after her breakout role on the TV series "Brookside" in the 1980s. She has since gone on to appear in a number of other popular television shows, including "Emmerdale", "EastEnders", and "Coronation Street". In addition to her work on the small screen, Goody has also enjoyed a successful stage career, appearing in productions of "The Rocky Horror Show", "Chicago", and "Cabaret" among others. Despite suffering from a serious illness in recent years, she has continued to act, with recent appearances on "Doctors" and "Casualty".

Kim Goody was born and raised in London, England. She was educated at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London before embarking on her acting career. After her successful start on "Brookside", she became a familiar face on UK television, winning critical acclaim for her performances in both dramas and comedies.

In addition to her acting career, Goody has also been involved in charity work. She has been an active supporter of various cancer charities and a patron of the Orchid Cancer Appeal. She has also been an advocate for organ donation, having received a liver transplant in 2004.
