His children are called Yulia Kuryokhina, Elizaveta Kuryokhina and Fedor Kuryokhin.

Sergey Kuryokhin was a prominent figure in the underground music scene in the Soviet Union during the 1980s and 1990s. He was a member of several experimental music groups, including the Pop Mechanics, one of the first Soviet bands to incorporate electronic music into their sound.
