Humphrey Carpenter

Humphrey Carpenter (April 12, 1946 Oxford-January 4, 2005) a.k.a. Humphrey William Bouverie Carpenter was a British writer.

He was best known for his biographies including those of J.R.R. Tolkien, W.H. Auden, Benjamin Britten, and C. S. Lewis. Carpenter was also a prolific children's author, writing the popular "Mr. Majeika" series. In addition to writing, he worked as a radio broadcaster and television presenter, hosting several programs for the BBC. Carpenter was educated at Keble College, Oxford, where he studied English literature. He later taught the subject at the City of Oxford High School for Boys before pursuing a full-time career as a writer. Carpenter passed away in 2005 at the age of 58.

Carpenter's interest in writing and literature began at a young age, and he wrote his first book when he was just seven years old. As a student at Keble College, he became involved with the university's drama society, and later worked with the Oxford Playhouse. In addition to his biographies and children's books, Carpenter also wrote several novels for adults, as well as works of non-fiction on a range of topics, including the history of the Oxford English Dictionary. He was known for his meticulous research and engaging writing style, and his works earned him critical acclaim and a loyal following. Carpenter was also a patron of several literary organizations and a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature. He is remembered as a talented writer and a passionate advocate for literature and the arts.

He is a member of the Quebec Liberal Party and served as the Premier of Quebec from 1985 to 1985. Prior to his political career, Johnson practiced as a physician and specialized in obstetrics and gynecology. He also holds a law degree and has worked as a lawyer, specializing in health law. Johnson has been involved in various public health initiatives and was appointed as the head of the Quebec government's Public Health Commission in 2010. Throughout his career, Johnson has been recognized for his contributions to medicine and public service, receiving numerous awards and honors both in Canada and internationally.

As a politician, Pierre-Marc Johnson was a vocal advocate for Quebec sovereignty and played a key role in the negotiations leading up to the Meech Lake Accord in 1987. Rusty Young

Rusty Young (February 23, 1946 Long Beach-) otherwise known as Norman Russell Young is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter and film score composer.

He is best known as the cofounder of the country rock band Poco, which was formed in 1968. Young played lead guitar and sang lead vocals on some of the band's most popular songs, including "Rose of Cimarron" and "Crazy Love". He remained with Poco until 2013, making him the only original member to last through every lineup change. Aside from music, Young has also composed music for films and television shows, including the theme song for the popular TV show The Wild Wild West. He continues to perform and record as a solo artist and collaborate with other musicians.

In addition to his successful music career, Rusty Young has also been recognized for his philanthropic efforts. He co-founded the Timothy B. Schmit Scholarship Fund, which provides financial aid to music students in need. Young has also worked with various organizations to combat hunger and homelessness in California. In 2013, he was inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame for his contributions to the country rock genre. Ray Tabano

Ray Tabano (December 23, 1946 The Bronx-) also known as Crazy Raymond is an American guitarist and musician.

Tabano is best known for being one of the original members of the legendary rock band Aerosmith. He attended the same high school as Steven Tyler, the lead singer of Aerosmith, and the two became good friends. Tabano was the band's original rhythm guitarist and also helped design the band's iconic logo. He co-wrote a few songs with the band, including "Adam's Apple" which was released on their debut album. However, Tabano left Aerosmith in 1971 due to personal reasons before the band became famous. After leaving the band, Tabano continued to play music and became a successful artist and sculptor.
