A.A. Allen, also known as Asa Alonso Allen, was a popular faith healer and pentecostal evangelist in the 1950s and 1960s. He was born in Sulphur Rock, Arkansas, and grew up in poverty. At the age of 18, he became a Christian and soon after began preaching. In 1950, Allen founded the Miracle Revival Fellowship in Miracle Valley, Arizona, which became a hub of Pentecostal activity.

Allen's ministry was known for its faith healing services, which drew large crowds. He often claimed that he could heal people through the power of God and performed dramatic healings on stage. Allen also had a popular radio and television show, which aired on stations across the country.

However, his ministry was also controversial. Some accused him of being a fraud and using plant members in his audience to claim healings. There were also allegations of alcohol and drug abuse, and financial mismanagement. In 1960, he had a public falling out with his former mentor, William Branham.
