Mario Montenegro (July 25, 1928 Pagsanjan, Laguna-August 27, 1988 Metro Manila) was a Filipino actor.

He appeared in over 200 films in his career, mostly during the 1950s and 1960s. Montenegro was known for his portrayals of action heroes and romantic leads in Philippine cinema. He also starred in a number of hit films alongside the famous Filipino actresses of his time, such as Gloria Romero and Amalia Fuentes. Montenegro was a recipient of the FAMAS Award, the Philippine equivalent of the Academy Awards, for his outstanding contribution to the local film industry. Aside from acting, he was also a director and a producer of some of his own films. Despite passing away at the relatively young age of 60, Mario Montenegro has left an enduring legacy in the history of Philippine cinema.
