Fernando Poe Jr. was one of the most prominent actors in the history of Philippine cinema, appearing in over 300 films throughout his career. He was known for his roles in various films and television shows throughout the Philippines. Aquino started his acting career in the early 1970s and appeared in over 200 movies and series in his lifetime. He was known for his versatility in playing both protagonist and antagonist roles. Some of his notable projects include "Batch '81," "Karnal," and "Dekada '70." Aside from acting, he was also a director, writer, and producer. In 2010, he was awarded the Best Supporting Actor Award in the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival for his role in the movie "Muli." Aquino died on March 10, 2014, due to cardiac arrest at the age of 65.
