Yrjö Sirola

Jouko Törmänen

Jouko Törmänen (April 10, 1954 Rovaniemi-January 3, 2015) also known as Jouko Tormanen was a Finnish personality.

He was a renowned musician, composer and producer best known for his work in the Finnish rock band Popeda. Törmänen joined Popeda in 1977 and played with the band until 1983. During his time with Popeda, he contributed to some of their most iconic songs such as "Punainen planeetta", "Jääkone", "Kaasua" and "Kersantti Karoliina".

Apart from his work with Popeda, Törmänen also composed music for several Finnish movies and TV shows. He was also a successful producer, having worked with many popular Finnish artists such as Dingo, Kirka and Mikko Alatalo.
