Nato Vachnadze

Nato Vachnadze (June 14, 1904 Warsaw-June 14, 1953) a.k.a. Nato Andronikashvili, ნატო ვაჩნაძე, ნატო ანდრონიკაშვილი or Natalya Georgiyevna Vachnadze was a Georgian actor. She had three children, Eldar Shengelaia, Giorgi Shengelaia and Tengiz Vachnadze.

Nato Vachnadze was born to a Georgian family in Warsaw, Poland. Her family moved to Georgia when she was a child. She began her acting career in the 1920s and quickly gained popularity on the Georgian stage. She went on to become one of the most celebrated actors in Soviet Georgia.

During her career, she starred in many Georgian films, including "Khabarda", "The First Echelon", and "Native Land". She was known for her powerful performances on stage and screen.

Vachnadze was also a prominent figure in Georgian cultural circles, and was involved in the formation of the Georgian State Theatre. She was a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and was known for her support of the Soviet government.

Tragically, Vachnadze died on her 49th birthday in a plane crash while traveling to Tbilisi. Her legacy as a talented actor and cultural figure in Georgia lives on to this day.
