Kenny Bee started his career as a member of the band, The Wynners, in the 1970s. He played the guitar and performed lead vocals for the group. They produced several hit songs such as "Sha La La La La" and "Listen to the Music".

After the band disbanded in the early 1980s, Kenny Bee started his solo career as a singer-songwriter. He produced numerous Cantonese and Mandarin hit songs, including "Boundless Oceans, Vast Skies" and "One Person's Eternity". In 1993, he won the Best Male Singer award at the Hong Kong Awards.
