Newton Lai

Newton Lai (April 28, 1951-June 13, 2013) a.k.a. Han-chi Lai or Hon Chi Lai was a Hongkongese actor.

He was born in Hong Kong and started his acting career in the 1980s. Lai was known for his roles in action and martial arts films, appearing in popular movies such as "Police Story," "The Killer," and "Bullet in the Head." Outside of acting, Lai was also a well-known martial artist and stunt performer, often performing his own stunts in films. He retired from acting in the early 2000s and later ran his own martial arts school, teaching traditional Chinese kung fu. Newton Lai passed away in Hong Kong in 2013 at the age of 62.
