She began her career in the theater and went on to appear in numerous films and television series throughout her career. Csala was best known for her roles in Hungarian classics such as "Hyppolit, the Butler" and "The Boys of Paul Street." In addition to her acting work, Csala also lent her distinctive voice to dubbing foreign films and television shows into Hungarian. She was considered one of the most versatile and talented voice actors of her time. Csala received the Kossuth Prize, the highest cultural award in Hungary, in 1988. She passed away in 2014 at the age of 80.
