Kumudlal Kunjilal Ganguly, Dadamoni, Padmashree Ashok Kumar, Ashok Kumar Ganguly, Kumudlal Ganguly, The Grandfather of Indian Cinema, Sanjay or Dada Muni was an Indian actor, painter, film producer and film director. His children are called Preeti Ganguly, Rupa Ganguly and Aroop Ganguly.

Ashok Kumar was one of the most influential actors of Indian cinema and played a key role in shaping the industry. He made his debut in the film industry in 1936 with the film Jeevan Naiya and went on to act in over 300 Hindi films in a career spanning more than four decades.

Apart from acting, he also produced and directed a number of films, including the critically acclaimed film "Mahal" in 1949, which is considered to be one of the best horror films in Indian cinema. In addition, he was also a talented painter and had several exhibitions of his artwork.

M. G. Chakrapani

He started his career in the film industry in 1933 with the movie Seetha Kalyanam. He acted in more than 200 films in a career spanning over three decades. Some of his notable films include 'Manthiri Kumari', 'Maya Bazaar', 'Missiamma' and 'Ammayi Pelli'. He won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in the film 'Naam' in 1966. Apart from acting, he also produced a few films including 'Savitri' and 'Sudarshanam'. He was known for his versatility, and his unique style of acting made him one of the most popular actors of his time. He passed away in 1986 at the age of 75.

P. S. Veerappa

P. S. Veerappa (October 9, 1911 Kangeyam-September 11, 1998 Chennai) also known as P.S. Veerappa or P.S.Veerappa was an Indian actor and film producer. He had two children, B. Dhanalakshmi and P. S. V. Hariharan.

Veerappa started his career as a stage actor and later ventured into films in 1936 with the film "Sathi Sulochana". He acted in more than 300 films in various languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. He was known for his portrayal of villainous roles and had a formidable screen presence.

Some of his notable films include "Veerapandiya Kattabomman", "Parasakthi", "Enga Veettu Pillai", "Karnan", "Aayirathil Oruvan" and "Pudhiya Paravai". He also produced a few films under the banner "PSV Pictures".
