Wahid Chan (July 14, 1921 Aceh-December 20, 1971 Makassar) was an Indonesian actor.

Wahid Chan started his career in the entertainment industry as a radio announcer and later on, joined several acting groups. He was known for his roles in classic movies such as "Tiga Dara" (Three Virgins) and "Tiga Abdul" (Three Abduls). Aside from acting, he was also a talented singer and recorded several songs throughout his career. Wahid Chan was a recipient of the Citra Award for Best Actor in "Kemelut Hidup" (Struggle of Life) in 1965. Unfortunately, his life was cut short when he passed away at the age of 50 due to lung cancer. Nonetheless, his legacy still lives on and he is still regarded as one of the pioneering actors in Indonesian cinema.

Wahid Chan was not only an accomplished actor, but he was also actively involved in social and political activities. He was a member of the Indonesian Democratic Party and was known for his support of President Sukarno. However, following Sukarno's fall from power, Wahid Chan faced increasing scrutiny and was deemed a threat by the new government. He was arrested and jailed for over a year without trial.
