Hossein Panahi (August 28, 1956 Kohgiluyeh County-August 4, 2004 Tehran) was an Iranian actor, poet and author. He had three children, Leila Panahi, Ana Panahi and Sina Panahi.

He died in myocardial infarction.

Hossein Panahi was most notable for his roles in movies such as "The Deer" and "Bashu, the little stranger". In addition to his acting career, he was also a respected poet and author who published several collections of poems and wrote plays for theater.
