Al Ferguson

Al Ferguson (April 19, 1888 Rosslare Strand-December 4, 1971 Long Beach) also known as Al Fergusan, A.G. Ferguson or Alfred Ferguson was an Irish actor and film director.

He began his career in the film industry as an actor in 1912 and appeared in over 200 films during his career. In the 1920s, he transitioned into directing and became a prolific director of B-movies, mostly for the Poverty Row studio, Monogram Pictures. Ferguson was known for his efficient and cost-effective direction on a limited budget. Some of his notable directorial works include "The Three Mesquiteers" (1936), "Riders of Death Valley" (1941), and "The Nevada Buckaroo" (1931). Later in his career, he served as a production supervisor on several films. Ferguson remained active in the film industry until his death in 1971 at the age of 83.
