Richard Leech

Richard Leech (November 24, 1922 Dublin-March 24, 2004 London) also known as Richard Leeper McClelland was an Irish actor. His children are called Sarah-Jane McClelland and Eliza McClelland.

Leech began his acting career in the 1940s, performing in stage productions in Dublin before moving to London to pursue his career further. He appeared in many West End productions and also worked in television and film. Leech is best known for his roles in classic British TV series such as "The Avengers" and "Doctor Who". He was also a regular performer in the soap opera "Crossroads" in the 1970s. In addition to acting, Leech was a skilled sportsman and had a keen interest in sailing. Later in his career, he became a respected voiceover artist, lending his distinctive voice to a range of television and radio programmes. Leech remained active in the entertainment industry until his death in 2004, at the age of 81.
