She appeared in several notable films throughout her career, including "The Man Who Knew Too Much" (1934) and "Jamaica Inn" (1939), both directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Henson was also a prolific voice actor, lending her voice to various radio dramas and animated series. One of her most notable voice roles was as the titular character in the BBC radio series "Mrs. Dale's Diary," which ran from 1948 to 1969.
