Anita Sharp-Bolster began her acting career in Dublin, Ireland before moving to London, England in pursuit of better roles. She appeared in various productions on the West End stage in the 1920s and 1930s. Sharp-Bolster's film career began in the late 1930s and she appeared in several films in both the UK and the US. She is perhaps best known for her role as the White Queen in the 1933 film "Alice in Wonderland." In addition to acting, Sharp-Bolster was also a talented singer and dancer, and regularly performed in cabaret shows. After retiring from acting in the late 1940s, she moved to the United States where she continued to perform in cabaret shows until her death.
