She was born in Bucharest, Romania in 1951 and moved to Israel with her family at a young age. Cambus began her acting career in the 1980s, appearing in various Israeli television shows and films. She is best known for her role in the hit Israeli TV series "Parashat Ha-Shavua" (The Weekly Torah Portion). Cambus also worked as a stage actress, performing in productions at the Cameri Theater and other Israeli theaters.

In addition to her acting career, Cambus was also a voice teacher and vocal coach. She taught at the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio and the Wizo School of Design and Education, both in Tel Aviv. Cambus was known for her passion for the arts and dedication to her students.
