Zohar Argov

Zohar Argov (July 16, 1955 Rishon LeZion-November 6, 1987) a.k.a. Zohar Orkabi or ארגוב, זוהר was an Israeli singer. His child is Gili Argov.

Zohar Argov was born in Rishon LeZion, Israel to a family of Sephardic Jewish descent. He began his music career in his early 20s performing Mizrahi music at weddings and parties in the Tel Aviv area. Despite his success, he struggled with drug addiction throughout his career.

Argov's breakthrough came in 1981 with the release of his debut album, "Elinor." This was followed by several more successful albums, including "There Where Times," "As of Today," and "My Life Passes By." He was known for his powerful voice and emotional performances, which often focused on themes of love, heartbreak, and social justice.

Mike Brant

Mike Brant (February 1, 1947 Nicosia-April 25, 1975 Paris) otherwise known as Moshe Brand or Brant, Mike was an Israeli singer.

Mike Brant was born in Cyprus to Polish-Jewish parents who later immigrated to Israel. He grew up in Haifa, Israel and served in the Israeli Defense Forces before launching his music career. Despite his success, Brant struggled with depression and tragically died by suicide in 1975, at the age of 28. His legacy as a beloved performer and pop icon continues in Israel and France today.
