Charles gained national attention in 1983 when she was named the first runner-up in the Miss America pageant, but later became Miss America 1984 after Vanessa Williams resigned. As Miss America, Charles traveled extensively and became involved in numerous charitable and humanitarian efforts. After her reign, she continued to perform as a singer, releasing several albums and appearing in various stage productions. In addition to her music career, she has also worked as a television host and actress. Charles is also known for her advocacy work, particularly in the areas of education and health, and is a strong supporter of her home state of New Jersey.

Alessandra Martines (September 19, 1963 Rome-) is an Italian actor, dancer and writer. She has two children, Stella Lelouch and Hugo Descours.

Alessandra Martines began her career in the arts as a ballerina, studying at the Rome Opera School and later performing with renowned companies such as the Royal Ballet of London and the American Ballet Theatre in New York. She made her acting debut in the 1980 film "Prestami tua moglie" and went on to appear in numerous films and television shows.

In addition to her work on screen, Martines has also written two books, including a memoir titled "Io, Alessandra" which details her life and career as a dancer and actor.

Romitelli's music is known for its complexity, with influences ranging from rock music to spectralism. He often incorporated electronic sounds into his work, and was an early adopter of computer-aided composition. Romitelli was also a respected educator, having taught at the Paris Conservatory and the Darmstadt Summer Courses. Sadly, he passed away at the young age of 41 due to cancer. Despite his early death, his innovative and boundary-pushing compositions continue to inspire young composers around the world.
