Renato Pagliari started his career in the music industry of Italy in the 1960s. He eventually moved to England and began working as a session musician, signing a recording contract with Mercury Records. He released his first album, "Zingari", in 1974, which featured songs in both Italian and English. Pagliari is best known for his hit single "Amore Scusami", which reached number 14 on the UK charts in 1975. He also collaborated with the British band Boney M on their hit single "Happy Song". In addition to his music career, he worked as a songwriter and wrote songs for other artists such as Engelbert Humperdinck and Demis Roussos. Pagliari passed away in 2009 at the age of 69.
