Ibrahim Touré

Ibrahim Touré (September 27, 1985 Bouaké-June 19, 2014 Manchester) also known as Ibrahim Toure was an Ivorian football player.

Ibrahim Toure was the younger brother of Ivorian football superstars Yaya and Kolo Toure. Ibrahim began his football career in the youth academy of ASEC Mimosas in Ivory Coast. He later moved to Egypt to play for Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club, where he won the Egyptian Cup in the 2007/2008 season.

In 2011, Ibrahim joined Lebanese club Al-Safa SC, where he played for a season before moving to Libyan club Al-Nasr Benghazi. He then moved to Qatar in 2013 to play for Qatar Sports Club.

Unfortunately, during his time in Qatar, Ibrahim was diagnosed with cancer. He immediately began treatment but sadly, he passed away at the age of 28 in Manchester, where Yaya Toure was playing for Manchester City at the time.

Ibrahim Toure's death shook the football world and tributes poured in from all over the world, with many teams observing a moment of silence in his honor. His brothers, Yaya and Kolo, both paid emotional tributes to him and continue to honor his memory to this day.

He died in cancer.
