Leander De Cordova (December 5, 1877 Kingston-September 19, 1969 Los Angeles) also known as Leander de Cordova or Leander DeCordova was a Jamaican film director and actor.

He was one of the pioneering figures of the early Hollywood era, having directed and acted in over 50 films during his career. De Cordova began his career in the film industry as an actor in early silent films before transitioning into directing. He was known for his work on several popular films in the 1920s and 1930s, including "The Devil's Passkey" (1920), "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (1935), and "Strange Cargo" (1940). De Cordova was also a versatile writer, having written a number of screenplays during his career. He was a founding member of the Directors Guild of America, and remained active in the Hollywood film community until his passing.
