Michiyo Kogure (January 31, 1918 Shimonoseki-June 13, 1990) also known as Tsuma Wada, Kogure Michiyo or 木暮実千代 was a Japanese actor.

She died in heart failure.

Michiyo Kogure began her acting career in 1939 and appeared in more than 120 films. She was a prominent actress during the Golden Age of Japanese Cinema in the 1940s and 1950s, known for her versatile ability to portray both strong and vulnerable characters. Some of her most notable roles were in films such as "Osaka Elegy", "Street of Shame", and "Ugetsu". She was also recognized with several awards for her outstanding performances, including the Kinema Junpo Award and the Blue Ribbon Award. Kogure was married to fellow actor Ryo Ikebe and they had two children together.

Tura Satana (July 10, 1938 Hokkaido-February 4, 2011 Reno) also known as Tura Luna Pascual Yamaguchi or Miss Japan Beautiful was a Japanese actor and exotic dancer. She had one child, Kalani Jurman.

She died as a result of heart failure.

Tura Satana's family was forced to relocate to the United States during the WWII Japanese internment. She grew up in Chicago and attended both Catholic and Protestant schools. At the age of 13, she was raped by a group of men and later sought revenge against her attackers. Satana's film career was highlighted by her iconic role as Varla in the 1965 Russ Meyer cult classic "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!" She also appeared in numerous other films and television shows throughout her career. Outside of acting, Satana was a skilled martial artist and worked as a bodyguard. Later in life, she became an advocate for victims of sexual violence and spoke publicly about her own experiences.
