Munetaka Higuchi (December 24, 1958 Nara-November 30, 2008 Osaka) a.k.a. Loudness, Higuchi Munetaka, Davy or Munetaka Higuchi & Dream Castle was a Japanese drummer, record producer and film score composer.

His most important albums: Destruction, Free World, SUPER ROCK★SUMMIT〜Cozy Powell Forever Tour Live in Tokyo, MUNETAKA HIGUCHI DRUM COLLECTION Vol.001, and FREE WORLD 2. Genres he performed include Heavy metal and Rock music.

Higuchi co-founded the heavy metal band Loudness in 1981, which quickly became one of Japan's most successful and influential bands. As a drummer, he was known for his technical skill and speed, and his energetic performances were a highlight of the band's live shows. In addition to his work with Loudness, Higuchi also collaborated with a number of other artists, producing albums and composing film scores. He continued to play with Loudness until his death from liver cancer in 2008, leaving behind a legacy as one of Japan's greatest drummers and a pioneer of heavy metal music in the country.
