Ravichandran

Ravichandran (March 30, 1942 Kuala Lumpur-July 25, 2011 Chennai) also known as Crazy Star, P.S. Raman or Kalaingnar Thilagham was a Malaysian actor, screenwriter, film director and writer. His children are Hamsavardhan, Lavanya, Balaji and George.

Ravichandran made his acting debut in the Tamil film industry in 1965 with the film "Kadhalikka Neramillai". He went on to act in over 100 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. Some of his notable films include "Galatta Kalyanam", "Gauravam", "Kumari Pennin Ullathile", "Naan Yen Pirandhen", and "Manamagale Vaa".

Apart from acting, Ravichandran also directed and produced several films. His first directorial venture was the 1976 film "Pattina Pravesam". He also wrote screenplays for many of his films.
