Sudirman Arshad (May 25, 1954 Temerloh-February 22, 1992) was a Malaysian singer, lawyer, writer and actor.

He was popularly known as "Sudirman" or "Sudi" and was considered the “Elvis of Malaysia”. Sudirman started performing at a very young age and won his first singing competition at the age of 11. He rose to prominence in the 80s and 90s and became a cultural icon and inspiration to many in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia. Sudirman’s music was a fusion of traditional Malay music, pop, and rock, and he was known for his energetic and charismatic performances.

Apart from his successful music career, Sudirman was also a qualified lawyer and an accomplished writer. In 1984, he was awarded the title of “Tokoh Sastera” (Literary Figure) by the National Literary Authority of Malaysia. Sudirman was also known for his advocacy and activism, especially for the rights of the underprivileged and marginalized communities.
