Hussein Abu Hassan (May 5, 1937 Alor Gajah-November 26, 2007 Kuala Lumpur) also known as Hussein A. Hassan was a Malaysian actor. His child is called Faizal Hussein.

He was known for his versatility as an actor, having played a wide range of roles in films, television series and theater productions. One of his most notable performances was in the film "Bukit Kepong" (1981), which depicted the bravery of a group of police officers who defended their outpost against communist guerillas in 1950s Malaya. His portrayal of one of the officers earned him critical acclaim and helped establish him as a prominent figure in the local film industry.

Apart from his work on screen and stage, Hussein was also a respected voice actor. He lent his voice to various animated series and commercials, including the popular cartoon "Upin & Ipin" and the iconic Milo beverage jingle.
