Salmah Ismail (January 22, 1935 Pasir Panjang-April 25, 1983 Assunta Hospital) also known as Saloma was a Malaysian actor.

Saloma was not only an actor but also a singer, known for her contributions to the Malay music industry. She was the wife of the famous musician, P. Ramlee. Saloma's singing career began in 1953 when she signed up with Radio Malaya, and her first recording was a duet with P. Ramlee, her future husband. She acted in more than 50 films from the 1950s to the 1970s and won numerous acting awards. She was known for her versatility and had acted in various roles ranging from comedic to serious ones. Saloma was also recognized for her fashion sense, which was a mix of traditional Malay clothing and modern Western fashion. Her legacy in Malaysia's entertainment industry continues to be celebrated to this day.

Zulkifli Abdhir

Zulkifli Abdhir (April 5, 1966 Muar-January 25, 2015 Maguindanao) was a Malaysian personality.

He was an alleged terrorist who went by the alias Marwan. He was believed to be a member of the Islamist militant group Jemaah Islamiyah and was wanted by multiple law enforcement agencies for his involvement in numerous bomb attacks in Southeast Asia. Abdhir was killed by Philippine authorities during a counter-terrorism operation in 2015. The operation also resulted in the deaths of 44 members of the Philippine National Police Special Action Force, making it the deadliest encounter in the history of the PNP/Special Action Force.
