Bert Bailey (June 11, 1868 Auckland-March 30, 1953 Darlinghurst) also known as Albert Edward Bailey was a New Zealand film producer, actor and writer. He had one child, Doreen.

During his early years, Bert Bailey worked for a newspaper in New Zealand and gained fame for his humorous columns. He eventually moved to Australia and became a successful actor in both theater and film during the early 1900s. He appeared in numerous productions and was known for his comedic talent. Bailey also wrote several plays, including "The Sentimental Bloke," which was adapted into a successful film in 1919. In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Bailey was a well-known figure in the Australian and New Zealand horse racing communities. He was inducted into the Australian Racing Hall of Fame in 2017.
