Bjørn Breigutu

Bjørn Breigutu (April 25, 1924 Norway-June 29, 2004) was a Norwegian film editor, film director and actor.

He studied at the Norwegian State Theatre School in Oslo before he began his career as an actor. Breigutu made his directorial debut in 1953 with the film "I Am a Salaryman" and went on to direct several films throughout his career. He also worked as a film editor, with credits including the film "The Pathfinder" which earned him the Amanda Award for Best Editing in 1987. Throughout his career, he was highly regarded for his technical skills and innovative editing techniques. Breigutu was awarded an Honorary Amanda Award for his contribution to Norwegian cinema in 2000.

Brandon began his acting career in the early 1960s, appearing in several Norwegian films and television shows. In 1964, he moved to the United States and continued his acting career in Hollywood. He appeared in numerous American films and TV series, often playing tough or villainous characters. Some of his notable roles include in "Mannix", "The A-Team", "Hunter" and "MacGyver".

In addition to his work in film and TV, Brandon was also a trained musician and performed as a drummer in several bands. He was known for his love of jazz music and often incorporated it into his acting roles.

Brandon passed away in 2004 at the age of 67 due to complications from lung cancer. He is remembered as a talented and versatile actor who made a significant contribution to the film and television industry both in Norway and the United States.
