He died in tuberculosis.

Mosjoukine was one of the most prominent actors of the Russian cinema during the silent era, and is well-known for his roles in films such as "The House with the Mezzanine" (1915), "The Queen of Spades" (1916), and "The Burning Crucible" (1923).
