Ivan Malré

Ivan Malré (November 9, 1922 Kikinda-March 22, 1974 Leipzig) was a Serbian actor.

He started his acting career in the 1950s, and became known for his work in Yugoslav theater and film industry. Malré starred in numerous films and TV series throughout his career, and was particularly recognized for his performances in "The Deserter" (1955), "Thunderstorm" (1956), "The Father" (1957), "Valley of Peace" (1957), "The Ninth Circle" (1960), and "Black Birds" (1964). Malré was also a member of the National Theater in Belgrade, where he played various roles on stage. In addition to acting, he was a passionate painter and poet. Malré died at the age of 51, during a theater tour in Germany.
