Jaroslav Filip (June 22, 1949 Slovakia-June 11, 2000 Bratislava) also known as Jaro Filip or J. Filip was a Slovak personality. He had one child, Dorota Nvotová.

His albums include Cez okno, Meditation for Piano, Ten čo hrával s Dežom, Človek hromadného výskytu and Najkrajšie Piesne Jara Filipa.

He died as a result of myocardial infarction.
