Graham Payn

Graham Payn (April 25, 1918 Pietermaritzburg-November 4, 2005 Switzerland) a.k.a. Graham Payne was a South African singer and actor.

He initially worked in theatre in South Africa before moving to London and then New York. In 1946, he joined the cast of Noël Coward's musical "Pacific 1860" and subsequently appeared in many of Coward's productions. Payn also had a successful career in film, appearing in "The Doctor's Dilemma" (1958), "The Boy Friend" (1971), and "Juggernaut" (1974), among others. He was also known for his relationship with Coward, with whom he was romantically involved for over 30 years until Coward's death in 1973. After Coward's death, Payn became a trustee of the Noël Coward Foundation and worked to promote Coward's legacy. Payn passed away in Switzerland at the age of 87.
